Good Samaritan Trust is a registered trust pioneered by its Founder Late Mr. M.R. Chandran, and registered as a non-profit social service organization under the Indian Trust Act. Spanning over a period of over 26 years, Good Samaritan Trust has proved to be a mighty weapon in the hands of the Lord, feeding the hunger and needy both spiritually and physically. The Deed of Trust was executed on the 1st day of April 1986 by M.R.Chandran, thereby creating a charitable Trust called “GOOD SAMARITAN TRUST” having its registered office in Trichy.
Right from its inception, this trust has been promoting social components especially in the specific thematic areas of rural higher education, youth and women empowerment projects, livelihood promotion, health, sexual and reproductive health, environment, sanitation and hygiene among the grassroots people living in TIRUCHIRAPPALLI District in Tamil Nadu, India.
Good Samaritan Trust has various missions like providing Bible to each Christian who couldn't afford to, establishing a spiritual library and encouraging believers with an opportunity to grow in their faith, provide free education by establishing schools, translate and freely distribute gospel literature, providing employment opportunities to physically challenged in their press.
